Browser Notifications
Blume supports browser notifications to keep you informed about important updates related to your reports, forms, and appointments. These notifications appear as pop-ups in your desktop browser, even when you are not actively viewing the Blume app.
Notification Types
Blume sends browser notifications for the following events:
| Notification | When it is sent |
|---|---|
| Report Ready | Sent when your radiology report is ready to view in Blume. |
| Form Reminder | Sent 24 hours before your appointment if a required form has not yet been completed. |
| Appointment Reminder | Sent 24 hours before your upcoming appointment. |
Notification Categories
Notifications in Blume are organized into two categories:
- This Week — Notifications received during the current week (Monday to Sunday).
- Earlier — Notifications received before the current week.
Note: The first notification you receive will not be categorized. The "Earlier" label appears once a notification from a previous week is present.
How Browser Notifications Work
When a notification is triggered, a pop-up appears in your browser. Tapping or clicking the notification takes you directly to the relevant section in Blume. If the link cannot be opened, you are directed to the Blume home screen.
Notification messages are kept brief. If the full message is longer than what is shown in the pop-up, you can view the complete details inside the Blume app.
Managing Your Notification Preferences
Blume respects your notification preferences. If you have opted out of notifications, browser notifications will not be sent to you.
